Film Fundraiser The Hobbit
A fundraiser for the Bermuda International Film Festival is taking place on the opening day of The Hobbit on 14 December.
Feeling tricksy?? Welcome ye to Bermuda’s very own acre o’Middle Earth! Calling all wizards, hobbits and Orc’s (even though they are the foulest of creatures)! Screenings of magical entertainment will take place at the Prancing ‘Speciality’ Pony on the 14th day of December at the six and a halfy and 9 and a halfy hours o’ the clock. Ye olde traditional Hobbit fare will be available to the merriment o’ all from 5.30 and 8.30. Hobbit ale or Wizard’s elixir as well as your favourite nibblies will slake your thirst and leave your stomach’s contented (as long as Hamfast ‘Gaffer’ Gamgee doesn’t get their first!) Gandalf’s BIFF raffle will leave some of you delighted with your new treasures! Awards for finest middle earth Costumes o’ the eve. (Ye olde judges decision final ☺)
Show times are 2:30pm, 6:30pm and 10:00pm. Afternoon screening includes a costume contest and goodie bag for kids. Evening screenings include costume contest, a drink and canapes. There’s a raffle too! Tickets: $40 adults (includes one raffle ticket), $25 children
